The history of Château Domaine de Beaumont begins in the early 1930s, when Chicago socialist Katherine Mortenson Carr and her husband and Dearborn Chemical Co. CEO George Russell Carr asked the French architect to create an impressive mansion in the south of France.
Jacques Kuelle (1902-1996), rightly called the billionaire's architect and close friend of Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso, was named for this enormous architectural undertaking.
Later in the life of the estate and during the period of Ambassador Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. at St. James's Court (1938-1940) used by the Kennedy family as a second home.
You can find photographs of the future president surrounded by his happy family in this beautiful home at the Kennedy Library in Boston, USA.
Among the closest neighbors of the Chateau de Beaumont are the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, who lives on a private estate on the hill of Mouans Sartoux, and the Picasso stables, which are located a few kilometers away.
The estate continues to attract world-famous celebrities and royalty who regularly seek to holiday at this exclusive and private estate in the heart of the Côte d'Azur.
